Tommy Scalera’s 1962 Thunderbird Convertible

Dixie, our Raven Black 1962 Thunderbird Convertible, had been in our family since 1999. We’d brought her to hundreds of car shows over the years, and our children grew up riding in her back seat. CarShowSafari.com’s News Department Editor, Ruby Scalera, learned to drive in this car. It was at a car show with Dixie that the idea of CarShowSafari.com was started. The old girl was still beautiful, but after 20 years, it was time for Dixie to be enjoyed by a new owner. She now resides in Paris, France, where I’m sure she gets a lot of attention.
