Ken Hower’s 1968 Camaro RS Convertible
Ethyl Mae is a 1968 Chevy Camaro RS Convertible with air conditioning and factory dark blue top. This car is Robin’s ride. The car she always wanted in High School. So in 2012, her Dad and went haves and bought the car. It was partially restored but some kind of funky work we had to undo and make right. It’s Robin’s Cruiser. We’ve taken the car up to Monterey to the Cherries Jubilee and we’ve taken her camping several times up to Big Sur. Folks just can’t believe your camping in a classic… Why not?
The car is matching numbers 327 and Turbo 350. White is the original color with the Medium Blue interior. The top is factory dark blue per the cowl tag. It also has factory air, unusual for a convertible car. She’s also sporting 15″ X 8″ Corvette Chrome Rally Wheels in keeping with her total stock look…and yes the hood was replaced with an SS hood…but whose counting? Great for open air drives up and down PCH where we live. Oh yeah, and she was used for some scenes in the Billy Bob Thorton Show, Goliath – Ken Hower
