The Mullin Automotive Museum, located in Oxnard, California, pays homage to the Art Deco and Machine Age eras, when magnificent art and automobiles were created and celebrated.Featuring more than 140 vehicles, art and artifacts, the museum collection was centered around true masterpieces of French curve coachwork and ingenious craftsmanship as envisioned by manufacturers such as Bugatti, Delage, Delahaye, Hispano-Suiza, Talbot-Lago and Voisin.  Several of the automobiles in the collection have won prestigious awards at concours events around the world, while many have won historic races such as Grand Prix de Pau and the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

The Mullin Museum had nearly 47,000 square feet of exhibit space, with a main floor filled with cars surrounded by galleries above that showcase the furniture and other Art Deco items. The museum includes a rooftop garden, theater, gift shop, and archival storage.

Peter W. Mullin had a lifelong romance with automobiles. He was a devoted supporter of the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance and other concours events around the globe. He had entered and driven his cars in vintage races and rallies for the last 25 years, both in the United States and abroad. Peter Mullin passed away on September 18, 2023 at age 82.

The Mullin Automotive Museum closed its doors permanently on February 10, 2024, but CarShowSafari was given the opportunity to visit and photograph the museum and its collection the day before it was closed forever.
