The Vintage IndyCar Celebration at Pocono, presented by the Classic Racing Times. Jam-packed with non-stop historic and modern day racing fun. August 18th through the 20th, in conjunction with the Verizon IndyCar Series’ ABC Supply 500. Showcasing the grand history of auto racing highlighting everything from TQ Midgets to Indy Cars. > > > Five on-track sessions on the 2.5-mile Pocono “Tricky Triangle” will include vintage Indycars, Champ Cars, Sprint Cars, Supermodifieds and F5000 Cars plus a special parade lap segment in front of the crowd on Sunday before the start of the 500. > > > The South End road course will be open for “touring” of all types of race cars, hot rods, customs and classics and will run sessions in “like” groups on both Friday and Saturday. > > > The popular “Sun and Show” car show, held in the pit paddock area behind Victory Lane will once again focus on historic and modern race cars, however, this year the show will include street rods, customs, classics and bikes.
