Parking: $10/car or free with CA State Parks Pass.

Park opens at 7:00 AM. Overflow parking in the parking ramp at California and Harbor. Go to the lower level and drive outside. The parking ramp adjoins the park. Come when you can, come as you are!

From the NorCal: 101 S to the VENTURA Ave Exit merge onto E Thompson towards the Fairgrounds. Take a RIGHT onto California St. cross over the freeway and Turn LEFT on Harbor Blvd. The entrance to San Buenaventura State Beach is just past the parking ramp about 500 ft on your RIGHT.

From the SoCal: 101 N to SANJON Rd Exit. Turn LEFT at the Stop onto Vista del Mar. Take a RIGHT at the Stop onto Harbor Blvd. The entrance to San Buenaventura State Beach is about 300 ft. on your LEFT.

Overflow parking in the California St parking ramp. You can not drive from the ramp into the State Beach but there is a parking lot on the lower level of the parking ramp with concrete barriers adjoining the state park. We recommend filling the top level of the parking ramp first (best view and photos!).
