SUPER CHEVY featuring SATURDAY NIGHT OF THUNDER ~ May 29-31, Friday, Saturday and Sunday
All chevy show returns featuring the famous car show on Saturday and Sunday, large swap meet, Lane Automotive Bracket Series points race on Saturday as well as the All Chevy drag racing event (including all GM makes) on Sunday.
Nitro will fill the air at Martin during the Night of Thunder Show, as there will be two Top Fuel Dragsters as well as a pair of Nitro Fuel Altards blasting down “The Fastest Track in Michigan”. This years event will include the return of the wild and crazy Super Charged Thunder group including “Blastro Van”
Each event here at US 131 MSP is not complete without a flame throwing jet and there is no exception here as Al Hanna will be bringing all THREE of his cars, two funny cars and the Queen of Diamonds dragster. In addition the King of Quake Jet powered Kenworth will shake the ground as Bob Motz propells down “The Fastest Track in Michigan” at over 200MPH.
Friday gates open at 4:30, a test and tune for event racers will take place from 6pm until 11pm. Cost to test and tune is just $25, adult GA prices are $10 in advance and $15 at the gate, children 6-12 are just $5.
Saturday gates open at 8am, Lane Backet Series time trials begin at 9am with eliminations at approximently 1:30pm. Top Fuel and Jets runs at 7pm and 9pm. Cost for adult GA tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the gate, children 6-12 are $5 in advance and $7 and the gate.
Sunday gates open at 9am, Super Chevy drag racing time trials begin at 10am, 1pm approximant start time for elminations. Adult GA prices are $15 children 6-12 are $5.
