The North Jersey Thunderbird Association, the state’s oldest car club dedicated to the American classic, the Ford Thunderbird, is presenting its 36th All-Thunderbird car show on Saturday, June 9th from 9:00am to 3:00pm at the Pompton Valley Presbyterian Church, 60 Sunset Road, Pompton Plains, NJ 07444. The club, started in 1976, is now in its 42st year……….
The annual event draws over 100 Thunderbirds from all over the tri-state area, and as far away as eastern Long Island, western Pennsylvania and Rhode Island. The show will offer music, food, vendors, car corral, tricky tray, door prizes, fun for the kids, and free dessert. The show is held on the sprawling lawns of the Pompton Valley Presbyterian Church with plenty of shade, indoor restrooms and free parking……….
Admission is free for spectators. Ownership of a T-Bird is not required to attend, just an appreciation of classic cars. Thunderbird owners who wish to enter their car in the show can fill out the registration form available at http://clubs.hemmings.com/njtbird/, or at the entrance on day of show. All T-Birds and T-Bird lovers are welcome…….
