The 11th Annual Charity Car Show, sponsored by Huntsville’s Vets with Vettes and Corvette Owners will be June 6 in the Milton Frank Stadium parking lot.
The car show is open to all makes of cars, trucks and motorcycles, with a $25 entry fee.
All proceeds will go toward local charities including the Semper Fi Community Task Force and Surivor Outreach Services.
The event is 9 a.m.-2 p.m., with registration from 9-11:30 a.m. and awards at 1:30 p.m. There will be games and prizes, a silent auction, a 50/50 drawing and food and drinks.
A dash plaque will be given to the first 100 entries. All who register their vehicles are eligible for door prizes, including the grand door prize of $500 cash.
Trophies will be given for best of show, best truck, best motorcycle, best pain, best motor and best wheels, as well as plaques for show sponsor choices.
Last year’s car show, despite the rain, raised more than $2,500 for the Semper Fi Community Task Force, Survivor Outreach Services, Tut Fann Veterans Home and the Angel Tree.
It is hard to believe that this will be the 11th year of the Vets with Vettes Charity Car Show. It will be at the Milton Frank Stadium Parking Lot on June 6th. This is great venue a car show since the area is paved, port-a-potty restrooms, and we are making arrangements for some of Huntsville’s Food Trucks to provide food and drinks. The show hours will be from 9:00am to 2:00pm. Setup for the show will start at 7:00am with the cleanup beginning at 2:00pm.
This event is open to all makes and models of cars, trucks, and motorcycles. Grand prize will be $500. Also there will be trophies for the winners in at least 5 different categories. In addition there will be Games and Prizes, a Silent Auction, 50/50 drawings and lots of good family fun. Oh, yes, we want to make sure everyone that attends has a great time so they will want to come back next year.
Let’s not forget the reason for the car show; the proceeds go to benefit local charities like the Semper Fi Community Task Force, Survivors Outreach Services and other local veteran charity organizations.
We need Vets with Vettes club members to volunteer to work on Car Show committee, or show up at Milton Frank stadium on June 6th to help with various tasks. Remember this is your car show, come out and support the club and our local charities.
