===Occurs in conjunction with RetroFest 2022, where admission to the latter gives visitors access to this watercraft spectacle featuring vintage and current boat races plus static displays on Saturday 9:00am-4:00pm and Sunday June 5 11:00am – 3:00pm. RetroFest celebrates all things vintage from the 40’s-70’s and features LIVE music, kids & family games & activities, hot rods & classic cars, exhibit on the sunken World War II German submarine U-1105 historic Shipwreck Preserve, retro Pin Up photo contest, food truck, ice cream truck, beer wagon, and retro exhibits.

Proceeds from this event support the museum and historic preservation of Piney Point Lighthouse. On its six acres of grounds and beach are the oldest lighthouse on the Potomac, historic boats, and local and maritime history, including information on the German World War II submarine U-1105 Historic Shipwreck Dive Preserve.
