2016 marks the 63rd Anniversary of the Vermont Automobile Enthusiasts. As part of observing this milestone we are renewing our association with the Shelburne Museum by announcing the 13th Shelburne Museum Classic Auto Festival. The Reunion will take place June 3, 4, 5, 2016 at beautiful Shelburne Museum overlooking Lake Champlain in Shelburne, Vermont.

This year’s theme is THE ART OF CARS. It is the imagination and creativity of inventors, designers, engineers and builders that transform an automotive concept into an Object of Art. Do you have a car whose body design is unique? We especially welcome Prototype and Experimental cars regardless of age or condition, but please bring any pre-1991 car, regardless of historical significance, to Shelburne this year. You may be surprised at what you can learn about car design!
Don’t miss the 1910 Sears Roebuck automobile which will “arrive” at the Shelburne Museum train station in a crete, be assembled on site, started up and driven around, just as it would have happened originally. ——————————————————————————————————————————————–
All entrants will receive a Dash Plaque and 4 passes to the Festival and the Museum for the 3 days.
All entrant’s cars will be positioned on the Museum grounds according to decade of manufacture, as there will be no vehicle classes or judging.
Awards in several categories will be presented on Sunday. ——————————————————————————————————————————————–
The venue of the Museum makes this more than just a car show; it is an event for your whole family featuring many hands-on displays throughtout the Museum grounds, with its expansive collection of Vermont historical exhibits, buildings and artifacts. ——————————————————————————————————————————————–
