Second SATURDAY at WAAAM Air and Auto Museum – Please join us the Second Saturday of each month when Western Antique Aeroplane & Automobile Museum gets the engines running and opens the doors to roll out and run some of its antique airplanes and cars. Visitors watch airplane operations up close and may get to ride in old cars, too. Action occurs between 10am and 2pm. Museum Open 9-5. Ride in antique cars, watch the antique planes take off and land, enjoy living history at its finest! Lunch is served between 11am and 1pm. Free parking. WAAAM is located three miles from downtown Hood River at 1600 Air Museum Road, Hood River, OR 97031.

ADMISSION: 2019 – $16 for adults and $8 for kids. In 2020:  $17 adults, $15 veterans/seniors over 65, $9 active U.S. military, $8 kids.

Second Saturdays throughout the WINTER will be held indoors. Weather permitting, cars and airplanes will be taken outside. Otherwise, there will be indoor events including demonstrations, special exhibits and hands on experiences for visitors.

Our antique aircraft, automobiles, motorcycles, tractors, military jeeps and engines all get their day in the sun when museum volunteers get to show visitors that this is not just a bunch of old, dead stuff … that life goes on for our artifacts!
