Nestled across the water from famed River Street, Savannah’s own little, private island comes alive with the roar of engines the last full weekend in October.
With its storied past and cobblestone streets, Savannah, unbeknownst to most, is the birth place of Grand Prix racing. Celebrating that heritage, the Speed Classic is a unique road race experience offering an intimate look at the inner workings of racing. Featuring points series races and even more excitement with hot lap rides, test drives and pit access, you’ll be strapped in at full throttle and up close and personal.

Unlike many auto racing events, the Savannah Speed Classic offers a unique, up close and personal perspective. From access to the pit/paddock to actual time on the track, spectators will get the real feel for the life of a racecar driver. It’s an experience unlike no other!
Car club corrall –
Bring your car and Car Club to the Infield of the Grand Prize of America Road Course and get special pricing, parking and track access to the only sanctioned race held at this 1.965 mile track built in 1997 for an Indy Lights race. Savannah Speed Classic Races – A Unique Experience Not to Be Missed! First come, first served, as space is limited.

H O T L A P R I D E S
Ride as the passenger with a professional driver at racing speeds around the 1.965 mile circuit with 10 turns. Hot laps are available in a manufacturer vehicle or in a racecar. You must be 18 years old or older with a valid photo ID to participate in the Hot Lap rides and you must check-in in the Pit/Paddock 15 minutes prior to the start of session.

T O U R I N G L A P S
Test the track in your own car! Touring laps are designed to allow you to tour the 
track at controlled speeds. Touring laps are offered each day at lunch time and can be purchased on-site at the event. Drivers of the vehicle musbe be over 18 years of age with a valid driver’s license. Passengers must be 12 years or older and all people in the car must be belted.

Access to the highly active pit/paddock area is included with your ticket. Tour the cars 
 participating in the Speed Classic and mingle with the drivers as you enjoy the event!
