===With Cobra as the automotive marque, in 1995 Caroll Shelby came to town to help launch our first auto rally to raise funds for the Pacific Grove Youth Center. The Pacific Grove Rotary Concours Auto Rally is now established as one of the most popular free-to-spectator events of Car Week on the Monterey Peninsula. The 2025 event will be our 31st and will be held on Friday, August 15th. The marque for 2025 will be the Mercedes. Our annual event is geared for those enthusiasts who own, drive, or appreciate all cars, especially Vintage, Classic, Sports, and Luxury vehicles. Registration and staging of participating cars begin at noon along Lighthouse Avenue in the heart of Pacific Grove. Spectators arrive throughout the afternoon to view the staged vehicles and to watch them depart at 5:00 PM on the rally drive that follows a scenic route along the magnificent Pacific Grove and Pebble Beach shoreline. The rally returns to downtown Pacific Grove. Proceeds from the event support Rotary Club of Pacific Grove projects and local youth programs. Projects funded over the history of the event have included the Pacific Grove Youth Center, Pacific Grove Library, and scholarships to graduating PG High School seniors.
