Since 1995 this annual event is geared for those enthusiasts who own, drive or appreciate all cars, especially vintage, classic, sports, and luxury vehicles. The marque for 2022 is the Mini Cooper, celebrating the 60th anniversary of teaming of Sir Alec Issigonis and John Cooper in 1961 that resulted in the development of the Austin Mini Cooper and Morris Mini Cooper. For this year’s event, registration and staging of participating cars begin at 12:00 PM noon along Lighthouse Avenue in the heart of Pacific Grove. At that time, spectators are able to view the staged vehicles until their departure at 5:00 PM on the rally drive. The rally route follows a scenic roadway along the shoreline and through the Del Monte Forest before returning to downtown Pacific Grove. Proceeds from the event support Rotary Club of Pacific Grove projects and local youth programs. There will also be an online silent auction to raise additional funds.
