The Glenn L. Martin Maryland Aviation Museum’s annual Open Cockpit Day, when visitors have an afternoon of aviation fun exploring the interiors of Museum aircraft on the outdoor flightline,  is expanding to include a car show.  Pre-registration for cars required at www.mdairmuseum.org. Rain Date is October 28.  Before aviation pioneer Glenn L. Martin built airplanes, he owned a Ford dealership. Adding autos to Open Cockpit Day is a tribute  to his knowledge and connections of auto mechanics and design that took him and his aircraft engineers up into the skies. Join us as we celebrate and appreciate two modes of transportation that launched future innovations in our country.
