• The Monterey Rock & Rod Festival now in its 16th year, is a benefit fundraiser for Gateway Center of Monterey County Inc., a 501c3 not for profit organization benefiting adults with intellectual disabilities since 1963.  This years headliner is Pablo Cruise, along with Jeremy “Elvis” Pearce & The Memphis Sons, Todd Morgan & The Emblems, Yard Dogs, J.J. Hawg Band with Barbra Ann Wagner.  This event is limited to 1975 and older classic cars & trucks, street rods, hot rods, muscle cars, customs and special interest.  There will be dozens of vendors and along with 100 merchant awards, 15 awards of excellence, long distance and Best of the West competition.  Visit www.montereyrockrod.com for more information and discounted rooms at Portola Hotel & Spa, located at the venue, next to the Custom House House Plaza in Monterey.
