The great automobiles and motorcycles of Europe will be coming to Renaissance at Colony Park in Ridgeland, MS for the sixth annual Renaissance Euro Fest Classic European Auto and Motorcycle Show. Entries in the show must be twenty-five years or older (built prior to 1990) except for a selection of newer special interest autos. For European auto enthusiasts, this is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the beauty of British, Italian, German, and many other European vehicles. If brands such as Rolls-Royce, Volkswagen, Ferrari, Porsche, Land Rover, BMW, Alfa Romeo, Daimler, Jaguar, Norton, Ducati, Royal Enfield, BMW, Bugatti. Talbot Lago, Mercedes Benz, Marcos, and Henson (to name just a few) excite your senses, then get all in! Awards will be presented to Best In Class of 13 Different Classes, 15 Sponsor’s Choice, and BankPlus Best of Show Newer, Ridgeland Tourism “Art of It All” and Best of the Renaissance Vintage and Newer. Additionally the Mayor’s Travel Award and the Governor’s Travel Award will be presented to out of State entries for the Best of Show, pre 1990 and after 1990. This year’s show will start with the Renaissance Rally Drive for entries, starting at 11:00 on Friday, from the Hyatt Hotel at the Renaissance. The drive will travel on the back roads, exploring The Bridges of Madison County, with a lunch stop and then back to the Renaissance for the “Pick Up Your Packet” Reception. Additionally there will be a Sunday morning “Pistons & Props Drive & Fly In”, traveling to the Byram Airport, just outside of Jackson, MS, for an additional showing of autos and vintage/experiential aircraft and Corvettes from the MS Corvette Club.
