FRIDAY, April 6 & SATURDAY, April 7, 2018 – European Engineering, Southern Hospitality – The 2018 Euro Fest Classic European Auto & Motorcycle Show, combining European engineering and beauty with Southern hospitality, will be another most enjoyable automotive and motorcycle event in Natchez, Mississippi. This will be the third annual show and once again is expected to exceed all expectations. The venue of the lawn of Rosalie Mansion, and a group of outstanding expected participants will make for an exciting event on April 7th. Autos from TN, MO, LA , AR,, FL and MS will created a large and diverse field of entries. This free, fun, family event held on the bluffs of the Mississippi River will feature European music, bagpipers, strolling Southern Belles and many other features will be on hand. —————————————————————————————————————————————-
Once again all will be treated to the 7 plane air show put on by The Bulldog Formation Flying Team, performing their many smoke trailing formations. ———————————————————————————————————————————————
Awards will include Best In Class of 16 Different Classes, 7 Sponsor’s Choice, and Best of Natchez Vintage and Nouveau. Additionally the Mayor’s Travel Awards will be presented for autos manufactured before 1994 and after 1993. ———————————————————————————————————————————————
The show gets started on Friday the 6th with the Natchez Rally Drives for entries, starting from Memphis and New Orleans. These drives are always a feature with their “tops down” enjoyment. ———————————————————————————————————————————————
FRIDAY, April 6, 2018 – FRIDAY ROAD RALLY DRIVES –
There will be two Friday, April 6th, Caravan Drives. One originating in Memphis, departing about 8:00 am, having lunch in Jackson. The other will depart New Orleans about 1:30, traveling via Covington and Baton Rouge. Both will proceed to the “Safe House” in Natchez and then will be escorted to the Vue Hotel for our Welcome Reception from 5:00-7:00. More detailed information to follow. SATURDAY, April 7, 2018 – 7:00am Placement begins — 7:30am Hospitality Tent opens for participants, sponsors, press, VIPs — 8:30am Judges meeting — 9:00am Judging begins — 10:00am Color Guard and National Anthem — 10:05am Show Opens To Public — 10:05am Bagpipers March — 11:00am Photo Ops with the Pilgrimage Belles and your entry — 11:30am Formation Fly Over by the “Bulldog Formation Flight Team” — 1:00pm Music Concert — 4:00pm Drive Up “Red Carpet” Awards Presentation — 5:00pm Show Concludes — 5:00 – 7:00pm Cocktail Party, hosted by Bobbye and Bill Henley at the Court Yard of their condo at The Canal Street Station, one block from the show field.
