Clinton Community College Student Senate will host the 5th Annual Cruising With the Cougars Car Show on Saturday, September 20, 2014 at Clinton Community College Main Parking Lot, 1000 Lincoln Blvd, Clinton, Iowa rain or shine. This car show will include Customs, Antiques, Classics, Muscle, Hot Rods, and Special Interest Cars, Trucks, and Motorcycles of all vintages. In addition to the cars, trucks, and motorcycles, there will be a live DJ, fun activities for kids of all ages, vendor booths, and some great food. But most of all the day will be filled with fun. There will be Dash Plaques to the first 100 entries as well as door prizes and a 50/50 raffle. All proceeds from this event will benefit student scholarships and student clubs.
Registration is 9:00 to 12:00 and the awards presentation is 3:00. Early registration fee is $10.00 and registration the day of the show is $15.00. Awards will be issued for the top 30 cars based on open ballot as well as 5 choice awards. Mayor Kenny Fahlbeck of Camanche will present the Mayors Choice Award and Dr. Karen Vickers of CCC will present the Presidents Choice Award. There will also be the Foundation Choice Award, Sponsor’s Choice Award and Fan’s Choice Award (or Best in Show).
