FRIDAY, July 1, 2016 – Cruisin’ with the Cops at the Indiana State Police Museum – Car enthusiasts and the public are invited to the Indiana State Police Museum’s first “Cruisin’ with the Cops” event this coming Friday, July 1st, from 5 to 8 p.m. The state police museum is located at 8660 East 21st Street, on the east side of Indianapolis. Best of all, there’s no registration fee and the event is FREE for the public just coming out to look at cool cars and visit the ISP Museum.
All eras and styles of cars, trucks, and motorcycles are welcome and the first 50 vehicles will receive a dash plaque.
ISP Museum staff will be hosting family activities, a new car exhibit inside the museum, as well as music and a food truck to satisfy your hunger! And along with the cool cars, and all to see in the museum, there will be state police officers to visit with as well.

ABOUT THE INDIANA STATE POLICE MUSEUM –
The Indiana State Police Museum collects, preserves, and presents the history of the Indiana State Police, focusing on the dedication of the department, connection with the community, and innovations made throughout the organization’s existence.
The Indiana State Police Museum’s collection tells the story of the Indiana State Police from its inception in 1933 to present day. The museum’s collection holds such things as the death mask of the infamous John Dillinger, a 1938 Chevrolet police vehicle, and uniforms from different eras.
Visitors are welcome to explore the museum on their own, or schedule a guided tour. The Indiana State Police Museum can accommodate any type of group, including school field trips.
