We had thousands attend our spring event and even more are expected this fall. At our last event, through the gracious support of our sponsors, we were able to provide 5 year old Braden Wallen with a specially designed trike to give him the mobility he has been without. The Variety organization, A 501(c)(3) non-profit, is a long standing charity in the entertainment industry, whose mission is to help disadvantage or disabled children. We have learned that what special-needs kids want most is to be active members of their communities. Disabled children need what many of us take for granted: access. As a fundamental part of Variety’s national initiative, Kids on the Go! will allow children with physical challenges the freedom to explore the world by providing grants to local individuals and organizations for mobility equipment.
