The FULL Vintage Trailer Bash Schedule:

Celebrate the one hundredth anniversary of Route 66! Think 1950s/60s roadside Americana: neon motel signs, roadside diners, gas pumps, jukeboxes, and the freedom of the open road. Nostalgic and kitschy, but also celebratory—like a giant road trip pit stop where everyone pulls in their trailers for food, fun, and music. Classicroad trip rock & roll: Chuck Berry’s “Route 66,” The Beach Boys, Buddy Holly, Elvis, Roy Orbison.Doo-wop and diner jukebox vibes: The Platters, The Coasters, Dion & the Belmonts. Mix in someroadhouse bluesandcountryfor variety.


Thursday, September 24

Coffee Klatch every morning at 7:30 am at Host Site 17
All Day-Johnny Agnew, TCT Hall of Famer, Overalls Fashion Fair. Wear your overralls.
Check in at site #17 once you park at your site.

Tin & Tonic site 431. Open @ noon with cold drinks. The 8th Annual Red White & Blues Sundowner with Huckleberry Margaritas & firecracker cocktails & other non-alcohol & Kid friendly drinks until 10pm. Compliments of Jim and Gracie Lathrop!

Birthday Party! 7:00 pm. Site, #67. Tom Cawein is turning 70! Stop by for some cake and celebrate! (We need some decorators to put up some balloons and streamers. Anyone want to have a Pin the Tail on the Donkey?)

Friday, September 25

7:30 – Coffee Klatch everymorning  at the Host Site 17. 

9:00 – Pilates in the Meadow Exercises to improve physical strength, flexibility, and posture and enhance mental awareness. No experience is needed. Please bring a yoga mat. Traci Saylor is hosting. 

9:30 – The Mimosa Filling Station, Sites 46 and 47. Hosted by Tamara, Kevin, Tasha, and Tim.

Tin & Tonic site 431. Open through out the day in between events. Closing at 10pm. Compliments of Jim and Gracie Lathrop!

10:00 AM – Jewelry Crafting with Angela Elsey in site 320. Limited space, Please sign up here if you are interested.

11:00 – Beer Can Rock ‘Em Sock ‘Em Crusher. Remember the classic 1970s toy? We’re putting a fun twist on it! Test your skills and battle it out in Beer Can Rock ‘Em Sock ‘Em Crusher — where nostalgia meets a little friendly competition. Prizes for the champs! Bring your game face (and maybe your sense of humor) — it’s going to be a blast! Your head referee is Linda Bryson at site #231.

Noon – Hot Dogs and Lemonade! Site #48 thanks to the Stevens.

1:00 Classic Car Cruise It wouldn’t be Route 66 without a cruise. Join us Friday and Saturday at 1:00 p.m. for the Classic Car Cruise. Line up on Prevost Street in your classic car, then cruise through the park and enjoy a little Route 66 fun. Line up on Prevost. Steve and Christie (site 345) are the leaders of the pack!

1:30 – Wine Country E-Bike Ride: Site, #67. It will be a two hour + ride with a break half way in Los Olivos. Proper riding gear and helmets are recommended. Ebikes are welcome or good analog road bikes. Bike rentals for both types are available in Solvang. It’s a beautiful, fun ride through wine country! 2:00 – Route 66 Road Trip Trivia! Test your travel smarts. We’ll cruise through questions about iconic roadside attractions, quirky small-town stops, vintage diners, classic cars, and all the stories that make America’s Mother Road legendary. We’ll split into teams, fire up the fun, and see who really knows their Route 66 history. Whether you’re a trivia ace or just along for the ride, it’s all about good times, friendly competition, and celebrating the open-road spirit. So grab your thinking caps—and maybe your best road-trip shades—and join the adventure! PRIZES!! In the pavillion. Your hostess is Melanie Benezet. Click Here to sign up your team of five players. Limited to 10 teams.

5:00 – Vintage Appetizer Party and Fashion Show at the Pavilion. Bring a dish to share for our classic roadside potluck—retro recipes and vintage serving pieces encouraged! It’s a long-running tradition at The Bash. Then get ready for a Route 66–style fashion show showdown! Roll in dressed as your favorite roadside characters, motels, diners, or Americana icons, or put together an outfit inspired by the golden age of highway travel. Got a quirky talent or a fun act? Take the stage and wow the crowd!  ALCOHOL IS NOT PERMITTED IN THE PAVILLION AREA.

6:30 ish Candy Scramble (after the Fashion Show)  in the meadow. Kids 12 and under.

7:00 pm to 10:00 pm The Mendenhall Museum. Private viewing for trailerites. $10 per person (cash) regular $15. A private collection located in California’s beautiful Santa Ynez Valley. The museum has one of the West Coast’s largest petrolina collections, including gasoline pumps, globes, and porcelain gas, oil, & road signs. There are also race cars, racing memorabilia, license plates, gas & oil items, and other miscellaneous antiques. 24 Zaca St. Buellton CA, 93427. Saturday, September 25

7:30 – Coffee Klatch at the Pavillion. Donuts provided by SkyMed. SkyMed is The Premier Emergency Medical Transportation Membership Service. In the event of a serious illness or injury, SkyMed takes you home by choice of the member to be treated by your doctor you know and trust in the hospital near your loved ones. SkyMed, has you covered, at home, away from home and worldwide. There will be a brief presentation about the SkyMed services at 9:00 am. (Less than an hour.) Raffle Prizes for participants: A $100.00 and two $50.00 Amazon Gift Cards!

8:00 – Bicycle Pajama Parade: Come in your PJs and join the fun! Follow your parade leader, Paula Brown. Meet at the Host Site #17.

9:00 Tin & Tonic site 431. Homemade award winning Bloody Mary’s Starting at 9 am. And open through out the day. Compliments of Jim and Gracie Lathrop!

9:00 – Potato Sack Races: In the meadow next to the Pavillion. Come join the Benezets for a good, old-fashioned potato sack race.The first few rounds dedicated just to kids and the last round for adults who dare! A special prize for 1st place winners and chips galore for everyone! ALCOHOL IS NOT PERMITTED IN THE PAVILLION AREA.

9:30 – Classic Car Cruise-In – On Prevost Street. Pre-1976 vehicles. NO TRAILERS. Drive in and stay for the open house. Please arrive between 9:30 and 10:00 am and stay until 2:00 pm to reduce traffic in the park when people are walking around. No in and out privileges. Cars must leave at 2:00 pm.

​10:00 – Dutch Oven Cooking Class. Join us at Site #330 for an unforgettable Dutch Oven Cooking Class with V-Dogs, Doug, Laura, Chrissy, and Steve! This beginner’s class promises to tantalize your taste buds with delicious camp food samples. Bring a chair.

10:00 – 2:00 Public Open House Time to open your trailers, if you want to. (Open/Closed signs provided). No parking on the Flying Flags property or Sideways Inn for visitors; please tell your friends.

11:00 AM- Route 66 Hot Wheels Drag Races. Start your engines! Bring your fastest cars and get ready for some friendly competition, a little bragging rights, and plenty of fun. All ages are welcome to race or cheer from the sidelines.

Whether you’re racing for glory or just in it for laughs, this playful competition is sure to entertain. Costumes and creativity encouraged — bring your best hobby horse and join the fun! Meet at the arena at Lisa Young’s site #344.

3:00 – Golf Cart Parade Check in with Ray in site #25

4:00 – Mini Bike Parade Site, #67. Led by Tom Cawein. 

7:00 pm – Antsy McClain Comedy Show in the Meadow. Bring a chair ror a blanket. Antsy and his Trailer Park Troubadours are serious about humor. Their all-original songs and stories, set to a side-splitting slide show, will have you dancing – and laughing – at the same time. But don’t sell these guys short as entertainers. Antsy McClain, “Nashville’s favorite songwriter,” can pen a heart-touching ballad as sentimental as the next guy. Calling what he does “Humor with Heart,” Antsy’s humor never attacks, and his songs often remind us that life is short, so enjoy every moment with the people you love.
