36th annual BBQ Festival on the Neuse is a great family event that usually attracts about two hundred vehicles and 5000+ Festival attendees. Door prizes, 50/50 drawing, DJ, and many things for the family to do. Which include 4H Kids Fest, tours of the CSS Neuse with living history, free civil war battle site bus tours,Farmers Market, Arts & Crafts Market, over ninety hogs barbecued, with the Fifth Annual Sauce Boss Competition ! Come Friday and attend the free vintage car cruise-in with fire works and live bands. Stay for the weekend!
