The BBQ BURNOUT Car Show, Cruise In, & Picnic is an annual event dedicated to custom car culture and automobile enthusiasts. Held in the beautiful city of New Orleans, the event brings in hundreds of custom automobiles and thousands of spectators from all around Louisiana and the southern region of the US. The event is a benefit and fundraiser for the New Orleans East Community as well as the public playground, Digby Center Park. Funds raised will help to support the parkâs booster club and other New Orleans community organizations. This year, for the first time, the BBQ BURNOUT is expanding to host events throughout the entire Labor Day weekend making New Orleans the destination city for automobile lovers. The main event is held on Saturday, August 30th from 2pm – 7pm at Digby Park. The event will host a car show featuring some of the best and finest custom cars, trucks, and bikes from car owners throughout the southern region of the US. The event will also host a cruise-in for custom vehicles that do not wish to participate or compete in the car show as well as a RC Village for remote control car hobbyists to display their great collection of cars. Lastly, the event will have a sound stage for musicians, artists, and DJs to perform as well as several food options for festival attendees to enjoy.
