On the Track:
At Barber Historics, some of the world’s finest and most impressive historic racecars compete on the track in a variety of classes based on engine type, car size, and age. This is a rare and special opportunity to see and hear the cars that shaped the history of racing! In 2017 you can expect to see cars on the track ranging from classic Minis and MGs, to the best from Lotus and Porsche. A Formula One car has been known to make an appearance. New for 2017 is the Porsche GT4 Cup race. This race will add to the on track excitement with these next generation Historic racers by bringing a modern vibe to this classic event. Contact the Historic Motor Sports Association (HMSA) for information about entering your car at www.hmsausa.com. ———————————————————————————————————————————————

Art Event –
New for 2017! Barber Motorsports Park has a vast art collection throughout the Museum and Park grounds. What a better way to celebrate than have the finest local artisans and creators set up with displays to promote their work?!
In a twist, we have also reached out to the local “maker” community in hopes of a few of the local makers and maker spaces will come promote their hobby and facilities to our crowd. If you need a small metal or wood project, something 3D printed, or even a custom sweater knitted, the maker community is a place to look, especially if you also want to learn how to do this yourself.
If you are a creator of original works of art, create one-of-a-kind creations, have a maker space, or have a group/club/organization that surrounds creating stuff, this is your area! Please email for more information. ———————————————————————————————————————————————
Car Show –
Would you like to show off your specialty vehicle at Barber Historics while you enjoy the museum, browse the swap meet, and watch racing on the track? This year all the car show activities will move to the Fan Zone! Individuals and groups are welcome! Lotus and Mustang groups have large shows planned that you do not want to miss! Some of these premium club areas are located in prime track-viewing areas. If your club would like to discuss space please email John Viviani for more information, or call 205.702.8718. ———————————————————————————————————————————————
