The Appleton City Car Show is in the city park on 52 highway in Appleton City, Mo. Lots of shade and an air conditioned building on grounds. Top 50 for cars and trucks. Top 3 for motorcycles and top 3 for rat rods. Goody bags and door prizes. Dash plaques to the first 200 entries. Lunch served by the Optimist Club and the Main Street Vision Group will serve bisquits and gravy for breakfast then cobbler and ice cream later. Proceeds go toward two $750 scholarships for local seniors.
