9th Annual Gurley Motor Company Route 66 Car, Truck, Street Rod Show & Cruise – 7/24-26/2015 – Gallup, NM. The annual Gurley Motor Route 66 Car, Truck & Street Rod Show, will be held in Gallup in July as a collective effort with the Route 66 RFC. The event will include a motorcycle cruise of Freedom Riders from Tucumcari to the state line and balloonists will participate in mass ascensions each day. The Freedom Riders will also hold the Toys for Tots “Christmas In July” toy run on Sunday.
Vendors: A variety of food, vendors, a beer garden, and live music will round-out the day’s entertainment along with outstanding shopping opportunities in historic downtown Gallup.**************

Our 9th Annual Gurley Motor Co. Route 66 Car, Truck & Street Rod Show has teamed up with The Gallup Down Town Business Improvement District (BID), the City of Gallup, Gallup Chamber of Commerce, Freedom Riders of New Mexico, Balloonist from throughout the State of NM and Red Rock Motor Sports to provide one hell of a fun filled weekend July 24th-26th. For our part, we are hosting 2 Cruise nights. Friday Night the 24th, we will meet in the Gallup Chamber of Commerce parking lot, located on Route 66 and 1st street for a police led Cruise (Parade). For those that attended last year’s Cruise Night, it is the same place. Saturday the 25th our Car Show also the Court House Square will be closed to Show Participants Saturday afternoon and into the evening. There will be Vendors, Live Bands, a Beer Garden and plenty of shopping in the Down Town area. Saturday Night we will meet at Gurley Motor Co. between 6:00 and 6:30 for our Saturday Night Cruise. We will depart at 7:00 for our second police led Cruise Night (Parade). Once finished, those that want to continue cruising the Gallup area are free to do so. Those that want prime parking in the Court House Square will follow me. All proceeds from our show will be donated to Veterans helping Veterans and the Wounded Warrior Foundation.
We will have Hot Air balloons doing mass assentation’s Friday-Sunday mornings. On Saturday evening they will be setting up on Route 66 at dusk from the West Y to 3rd Street to welcome the New Mexico Freedom Riders to Gallup. The balloons will be configured in a way that will resemble a tunnel of fire in which the Bikers will parade through and proceed into the Court House Square.
Red Rock Motorsports has also sponsored a huge Motocross race (Route 66 Desert Challenge) to be held the same weekend of our event. They will be part of our Down Town Event on Saturday night. They have planned to parade into town from Gallup’s OHV PARK and join us during our cruise.
