SUNDAY, June 5, 2016 – The 3rd Annual Midsummer Thunder Cruise will begin at 9AM in the Ferry Farm area of Fredericksburg, VA. We will gather at Northern Virginia Supply, 440 Kings Hwy, Rt. 3, Fredericksburg, VA 22405. The location is right across from the Sheetz. ——————————————————————————————————————————————–
At 9AM sharp, we will begin the 30 mile cruise to Jim’s Antique Motors in Colonial Beach, 312 First St. http://www.jimsantiquemotors.com Jim will be hosting his annual open house and picnic with car orientated games…like blind driving…yup, blind driving. Jim will be available to answer any and all questions about the artifacts in his 1954 Ford museum. ——————————————————————————————————————————————–
After our visit with Jim we will cruise to Wilkerson’s Seafood Restaurant on the way out of Colonial Beach for a late lunch around 2PM. http://www.wilkersonsseafoodrestaurant.com/index.htm Wilkerson’s will have their famous buffet open most of the day so early arrivers will be able to browse the buffet anytime they want. After we eat, we will cruise back to Fredericksburg and stop by Carl’s Ice Cream to make sure their ice cream is still good, it’s a public service we provide! ——————————————————————————————————————————————–
After Carl’s we will be returning home but you may leave the group at anytime during the day. ——————————————————————————————————————————————–
This is a rain or shine event…if you can’t use your special ride, just come in your daily driver…this museum is normally closed to the public and you don’t want to miss this opportunity to see it. ——————————————————————————————————————————————–
