On Saturday, August 5, 2017 the Connecticut Seaport Car Club will present the 3rd Annual Fairfield University Antique & Classic Car Show at the beautiful Fairfield University Quick Center, 1073 North Benson Road, Fairfield, CT. The show runs from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. There is no cut off year and all show cars are welcome. The paved show field is easy to get to from exit 22 (North Benson Road) off I-95. Just follow the signs to Barlow Rd and then the signs inside the university campus.
This show supports several charities including the Shriner’s Children’s Hospital and features dash plaques and goodie bags for the first 200 registered show vehicles. There will be great food expertly prepared by the Port 5 Naval Veterans, the music of DJ’s Car Tune Classics, lots of trophies, prizes, a 50/50 raffle, vendor’s area and much, much more!
The show car fee is $15 on the day of the show. Vendors are welcome and can contact Bob at rm.waters@yahoo.com to register. There is an area set aside for loading and unloading show cars from trailers.
The spectator’s entry fee is $5, but students with ID and children under 12 are free. There is plenty of free parking so bring the whole family and enjoy a great day enjoying the classics of the American highways.
Fairfield’s First Selectman, Mike Tetreau will be on hand to present the First Selectman’s Choice Trophy.
To honor America, Bridgeport’s Port 5 Naval Veterans Color Guard will conduct a flag raising ceremony at noon.
The rain date for the show is Sunday August 6th.
