2nd Annual Town of Farmington Fire/Avon Vol. Fire Car Show – Saturday, October 24, 2015 (****Rain Date: Sunday October 25, 2015***)
Time: 11:00am – 3:00pm- 1690 New Britain Ave. in Farmington, Connecticut.———————————————————–The Farmington & Avon fire departments will host a show to raise money for the construction and operation of a live fire training facility. Coming off the success of last years car show, the Town of Farmington Fire Departments (East Farmington, Farmington, & Tunxis Hose) and the Avon Volunteer Fire Department are hosting their 2nd Annual Car Show. All types of show cars are welcome with door prizes awarded to the first 400 cars. Donations are appreciated for show car entries and spectators.
Food will be served by Tunxis Hose and will include hot dogs, hamburgers, soda, water, and more. A 50/50 raffle will also be offered. All proceeds from this event will go toward the construction and maintenance of the new Live Fire Training Facility. The Town of Farmington Fire Departments and Avon Volunteer Fire Department appreciate the continued support of our communities and hope to see everyone there!
