22nd Annual Society for Disabled Children Super Cruise Car Show Hosted by BCCC

The Bakersfield Car Club Council, Inc., each year selects a charity by affiliate clubs to be the recipient of proceeds for our annual joint club charity event. The last 21 years that charity has been the Society for Disabled Children. They have a program that sends disabled and special needs children to camp and our event covers the cost for any local child to attend at no costs. The event is called the Society for Disabled Children Super Cruise Car Show. 2018 will the 22nd annual with over $350,000 raised since inception of event. The event is managed by the two spokespersons and staffed by the clubs of the Bakersfield Car Club Council, Inc.
The event is held at the Kern County Fairgrounds at the Budweiser Pavilion. This is in conjunction with the Fred Hall Shows who has their annual Central Valley Sports Show, the largest show of its kind in Californiaâs Central Valley. They have for the last 13 years provided the Kern County Fairgrounds for our Car Show at no costs as well as provide advertisement, marketing, logistic support to make our event a financial success. They have provided us space for an event up to 1000 cars and have the ability to grow larger. We provide them an additional entertainment value for their 7000+ spectators on event Saturday while giving us access to potential car enthusiast while supporting our charity, supporting our vendors, sponsors and clubs at the event.
The Super Cruise has traditionally been the kickoff event for the car show season in our community. We attract as many car club enthusiasts as well as non-club car enthusiast.
Sponsors for the Super Cruise Car Show assist us in offsetting event costs and increase our donation to our charity. We support these sponsors throughout the year with advertisement in our newsletter, webpage posting of sponsor and links to their webpages and posting of any car events sponsors may have in our sphere of influence. Sponsors are welcome to have a booth space at our event included in sponsor donation as well as provide hand out items for car show participants.
Our event has grown steadily over the years and is sustained by our community, loyal participants and spectators!! This event has raised over $350000 since inception.
