Greenwich Concours d’Elegance Will Feature Iconic Cars, Motorcycles and Special Events

The Concours will honor the centennial of the famous Italian atelier Zagato with displays of more than 25 significant cars bodied by Zagato, with special guests Andrea Zagato, grandson of Zagato founder Ugo, and his wife Marella Rivolta Zagato, a member of the Rivolta family, founder of Italian car maker Iso.

American Orphan Marques and a showcase of orphan motorcycle marques will be on the field both days, while Sunday will see a special display of cars from the Bentley Driver’s Club in honor of that marque’s 100th anniversary. The Zagato and Arnolt cars will be shown both days.

Special Presentation by Wayne Carini and Ken Gross.
“Chasing Classic Cars” TV host Wayne Carini and Concours Chief Judge Ken Gross will present some of their favorite cars and will interview their owners both days at 11:30 a.m. in front of the Awards Pavilion. “Chasing Classic Cars” will also be filming at the Concours for an episode airing later this year. Carini and Gross will interview the honored guests Andrea Zagato, Marella Rivolta Zagato and Piero Rivolta.

Book signings at the Road & Track Pavilion.
Noted race-car driver and TV commentator David Hobbs returns to sign copies of his acclaimed autobiography, “Hobbo: Motor Racer, Motor Mouth,” alongside celebrated automotive photographer Michael Furman and author John Nikas. They’ll be signing both days from 1-3 p.m. Furman and Nikas will sign their book, “Rule Britannia, When British Sports Cars Saved a Nation.” Furman will also sign his books, “Bespoke Mascots” and its companion book, “Automotive Jewelry,” as well as “Concours Retrospective.”

Luxury Yachts on display on the Delamar dock.
Luxury Yacht manufacturers will welcome visitors on board at the dock by the Delamar Hotel. Castaways will have three yachts, including a Swift Trawler 44. Hinckley will bring a Picnic Boat 37 MKIII and a Sport Boat 40c, while Total Marine will feature a Fairline Targa 65. They may be viewed during the Concours weekend as well as during the Saturday Night Gala.

Bonhams auction on site.
A multitude of vintage and classic cars will be offered at Bonhams’ annual Greenwich Concours d’Elegance sale both days. From Alfa Romeo and Allard to Stutz and Sunbeam, sporting cars in roadster, cabriolet and coupe form representing many of the world’s greatest marques will be available. With its centennial celebration this year, Bentley is taking the spotlight with five significant cars being offered. Additional information may be found at

New cars showcased.
Surrounding the show field will be displays of new cars, including BMW, Cadillac, Lincoln, Jaguar, Land Rover, Lexus and Porsche. Miller Motorcars of Greenwich will showcase Ferrari, Bugatti, Pagani, Alfa Romeo, Aston Martin, McLaren, Bentley and Maserati.

Competition cars on the field.
A vast array of unique vintage and historic competition cars will be on the field, including a 1938 Mercedes-Benz 170 VS, a 1983 Lancia 037, a 1983 March 83G, and a 2004 McLaren MP4-19 Formula 1. American cars are scheduled for Saturday, foreign cars for Sunday.

The Concours will again benefit Americares, a health-focused relief and development organization that responds to people affected by poverty or disaster with life-changing health programs, medicine and medical supplies. The Stamford, Conn.-based organization is the world’s leading nonprofit provider of donated medicine and medical supplies.

A silent auction will be held to raise money for The Hometown Foundation, of Cheshire, Conn., which honors and assists five distinct areas of interest including Animal Welfare, Emergency Response Personnel, Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities or in Need, Major Illness and Military.
