The Smithland Elementary School Cruise In is a community event that seeks to promote fun and family while giving students an opportunity to see and learn about super cool cars. Students will be handing out tickets to vote for their favorite cars and playing a game of cruise in bingo in which they look for cars that match the descriptions on their cards. The PTO raises funds during the event through concessions and kids games. The library hosts a book fair and uses the proceeds to buy every student at Smithland a new book. We have separate parking lots for cruise in cars and spectators. If you have a cool car that you would be willing to share we would love to have you. Your contribution will no doubt inspire and excite our students’ imaginations and drive. Hope to see you there.
